I spotted these gorgeous little crochet hearts on acolorfulcreation and thought they were just perfect for Valentine's day!! They seem to be everywhere at the moment and can be used in so many ways. The pattern seems to trace back to suzies-yarnie-stuff [click for the pattern]. She used them as a pin, other's have used them as hair clips also!

If you're more of a visual person you might find it easier to follow the tutorial on SaltForTheSpirit which gives a great photo set to show you how the hearts are made. You could stick them on hair clips, pins or even a card for your loved one! I'm pretty sure they'll be loved by anyone... maybe try filling a jar with them?
